No main power or wiring is required. The mounting hardware is not weather resistant which could be a huge issue especially if you have this light somewhere exposed to the elements. The light only is adjustable during set up so you might have to get more hardware to change this. It has a nice bright light much better than people expected. Adjustable settings for motion sense, you can set how sensitive it is and also how long the light remains on, the modes include auto on and off. The power cord and solar cell is incredibly long so you can adjust it in the proper position so you can get the right amount of energy necessary to run it. It seems to be a nice piece of equipment it’s not necessarily super adjustable an it does have some slight defects but it’s basically a free spotlight seeing as the sun powers it and you can hook it up anywhere around your house. I like the look of it is nice, I like the fact that the solar panel can be placed far away from the unit. Overall I think I’m going to give the Sunforce 82156 60 LED Solar Motion Light, a 8 out of 10.
